Creativity Toolkit
One of our primary objectives of the making thinking matter project is to develop a creativity toolkit for children and adults. In 2007 we will produce our first toolkit, this prototype will be a forerunner for a viable educational aid which we intend to produce and distribute to more education settings by 2008 in parallel with our project based work. This has the potential to be adopted as an ethical business model for other artists and educators.
Our aim is to secure sustainability in partnership with other educational settings and groups in the community who are dedicated to positive problem-solving and creative work.
What we hope to gain
- Further experience in implementing creativity and art workshops;
- Evaluation/research material for approaching funders and supporters
- The development of our first creative ‘footprint’ - the prototype of our creativity and art toolkit which is left with practitioners upon projects’ end. We intend to develop this idea further and create a dynamic product for use in all our projects and as a series of tools in its own right as part of our development;
- Good working relationships with schools and others for further partnership projects.
- Research material and skills to share with other artists and practitioners;
